Legendary Icon Will Headline First Maritime Wrestling Expo in Halifax

The biggest name in professional wrestling history in Canada is bound for Atlantic Canada one last time! To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Eastern Canada's longest-reigning circuit in over two decades, MainStream Wrestling Entertainment presents Maritime Wrestling Expo featuring WWE Superstar and Hall of Famer, the legendary Bret "Hit Man" Hart! The "Excellence of Execution" will address his legions of Maritime fans during a special in-ring Ceremony in his honor.

Maritime Wrestling Expo emanates live from Exhibition Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Saturday, October 16, 2010. The Expo segment will begin in the afternoon, with Bret Hart signing autographs from 4:30-5:30 pm. At least 7 exciting Live Matches involving stars from all over the world will commence at 7:30 pm. The Bret Hart salutation and Ceremony will take place during the evening card, with the Main Event pitting 7'0"-tall, 310-pound Giant Grimez against Maritime legend, "Kowboy" Mike Hughes
(The Fight Network's Wrestling Reality and Rush HD's Kardinal Sinners) inside a Steel Cage for the MSW Championship! This historical evening will be nothing short of spectacular.

MARVELOUS EXPO A WRESTLING FAN'S DREAM

The doors will open to the fans at 2:00 pm for the Expo portion of the event where the arena complex will be decorated with exhibits, games, and vendors. Presenting everything from wrestling merchandise, videos, novelties, and other entertainment-themed paraphernalia, the arena floor will behold sellers of many different varieties, showcasing a blend of nostalgic items and current product and service kiosks. There will be something for everyone.

Among the exhibits featured October 16 will be one of largest displays of "Hit Man" memorabilia ever. Bret Hart's magnificent history of
souvenirs will be exhibited (both WWE-issued and non-WWE), giving
fans of all ages a fantastic trip down the "Pink & Black Attack"
memory lane. In addition, a decade's worth of MSW merchandise
will be displayed, including ring-worn apparel and some objects
that was actually used in some of the most memorable bouts since
the company's birth in 2000.

PRO WRESTLING FANTASY CAMP

If you've ever wondered what it's REALLY like to become a professional
wrestler, then our special Fantasy Camp is just for you! Renowned Maritime grappler and international competitor, "Kowboy" Mike Hughes,
will be conducting a Pro Wrestling Fantasy Camp during the Expo,
guiding participants at least 18 of years of age through the paces
of an actual wrestling school try-out, presenting a hands-on
experience of what it's like to step into the wild world of wrestling. At
the end of the session, those still determined and starving for more are
encouraged to fill-out an application for Hughes' Red Rock Pro Wrestling
Dojo, THE premiere training facility in Eastern Canada. The Dojo is the
only MSW-recommended Training Centre in Eastern Canada for any
aspiring student serious about pursuing a grappling career. If you're at least 18 years of age and wish to participate in this rare Fantasy
Camp at Maritime Wrestling Expo, a non-refundable pre-registration is
required at a cost of $60.00 per person, or $50.00 each when you
sign-up with a friend. Application Fees are accepted by money order,
made payable to MainStream Wrestling Entertainment, and received at:

the old Stampede Wrestling Programs from the promotion of Bret's
late dad, the legendary Stu Hart! These are the same programs
that were made available throughout Western Canada during the
glory days of the circuit, the same ones sold to fans by all the

Meet the 7-time World Champion and the most famous grappler
in Canadian wrestling history live in person from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

Then, during the live matches at 7:30 pm, you'll witness a very
spectacular event: a moving in-ring Ceremony for Bret Hart, including
a proclamation by esteemed members of Halifax City Council,
a unique video tribute on the gigantic MainStream Screen, and a
special award presentation, all highlighted by the "Hit Man's"
trademark entrance as he salutes his legions of Maritime fans
in center ring for the final time! This is our opportunity to unite and chant, "Thank You, Bret!" for what will no doubt be
one of the most emotional and unforgettable presentations in
Maritime wrestling and entertainment history! This will surely be
an extremely moving tribute not to be missed.

After taking in "The Wrestling Experience of The Decade", join
the crew of Maritime Wrestling Expo for an intimate gathering
across the bridge at Dave Doolittle's Sports Bar & Grill, located
at 90 Tacoma Drive in Dartmouth. Our own Mike Gough (Sound Tech
for Expo 2010), will host a special video dance at the after-party immediately following the conclusion of Maritime Wrestling Expo!
